Well, if I sit still for too long my brain starts hurting so here's what Ive decided on for my next theme after piddling around for a day or three with a few concepts.
Rendered in Cinema 4D with lots of post work in PS, a warm, contemporary type skin with soft colorful mood lighting reminiscent of modern stainless counter-tops and luxury appliances. Perhaps bordering a little on futuristic.
Hopefully it'll turn out sharp, no idea what the rest will look like but I'm very happy with its beginnings.
The thread header is Penthouse - Contemporary Elegance , Syd and I (she's always a great help) must have gone through 200 before deciding on it.
Gonna run a little contest, for the funniest caption after Penthouse -
example: Penthouse - Damn, who drank all the caviar! .... You get the idea 
Enter as many times as you like but no pics please. Winner gets the Final Blind when it is finished and their choice of 2 others of mine which they may not have or would like to gift to someone.
Will post updates as I tinker along with the project.

How it may look on 7, XP obviously will differ.
As far as loggoff buttons, navigation buttons, taskbar buttons etc.. I have no friggin idea at this point...
....so in the immortal words of the cellmate of Larry the shaved headed, tattooed prisoner " I guess I'll have to pull something out of my @#$. "

Wow...that is definitely different than any other skins I've seen. It looks so realistic. And I agree with Giz, the wallpaper is nice. Looks like a fancy shower door (that happens to open up into a LED-fest rave in the 10 person shower, w00t).

wow...that screenie is just stunning... 
the graphics are mind-blowing mate...
I love the wall with it....looks to me like the view from the Penthouse...of the city skyline....on a dark, rainy night....
it highlights the colour reflections on the blind perfectly....which remind me of the spectrum reflections from halogen spotters....
it's just shaping up to be sensational... 
and I was wondering how you were gonna top Venom...
