"Doubling" Open Windows.
Thursday, May 27, 2010 by AaronNicholas | Discussion: Docks
Hey forums. I was wondering if there was a way to tweak my ObjectDock so that applications that are pinned to the dock do not make a new open window icon when they are executed.
For example, let's say Internet Explorer is pinned to the dock. If I clicked it, therefore executing it, it would make a new icon on the right side of my dock for the new window opened. I want a way for that not to happen, but instead just see the running indicator above internet explorer. Is there a way I can do this?

In your ObjectDock Properties under the Dock Contents tab, do you have "Display my icons only" or "Display open windows along with my icons" selected? Set it to "Display my icons only". Should do it.
