Farewell, my dear, friend
Ed has passed away

With a very heavy heart, Ed's family has requested that I share with you that Ed (angus1949) passed away last Friday, May 21, 2010. He is now, finally, at peace. His wife, Linda, and their daughters request that you respect their privacy and give them time. There is going to be a small family memorial for Ed at his home tomorrow evening...I have been invited and plan to attend.
My heart is so heavy....Ed was my best friend. We shared joy, laughter, pain, and tears. He was one of the kindest persons I have ever met. He would give the shirt off his back for you if he could. My life was so much richer for having him in my life. I miss him dearly.
If you want to express your wishes to his family, you can PM me and I will print them out and take them to Linda. She is not very computer literate...I will be spending time with her to teach her how to do things on her computer.

A loss to the community indeed, rest in real peace Ed, you deserve it and for my part, for a while at least, I won't sweat the small things in life.

My deepest sympathy to Ed's family and friends. Quoting Bob Hope.... "Thanks for the memories" , Ed. You're now pain free and I am sure surrounded by sunshine. Thank you for your infectious humor and silliness and caring.

His passing was not unexpected as we here had been following his progress, but it was simply too soon.
Ed was one of the 'good guys' here at Wincustomize.com, and will be sorely missed.

I never knew him like most of you did, but it's obvious that a whole lot of people genuinely liked him. Mybest wishes to his family. It takes a while to get used to.

You know I only knew Ed through WinCustomize, so it was only so deep....yet I sit here and cry cuz I knew Ed enough and he made a difference in my life...Godspeed my friend, peace to your family, Sincerely, Jack(Skinhit)

so sad to hear the news......but glad he is now free of pain....after such a long struggle...
they don't come any finer....a wonderful member and friend....
I always think of Ed when I see a sunflower now....it's become..his flower...
my thoughts are with his family.....
between doc on the phone and you being able to visit with him...I'm so glad there was also a more personal touch in bridging the cyberspace with his WC community......thanks for letting us know jazzy......
