Registrations bug/problem in Impulse and WC Site
Sunday, May 23, 2010 by Philly0381 | Discussion: Stardock Support General
This may very well have been identified all ready and if so, I apologize.
If you go to the Account tab in either Impulse or the WC site and click on registrations and then click on a skin that you purchased you get a server error. I'm thinking it is tied to the new WC site.

Correcting the spelling didn't fix the problem, damn.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I took steps to have my registrations emailed to me, however they weren't the updated versions.

Agree with the above and was also told it was the only way I can now get them. Received no word if it would even go back to the easy way it was. SI have never been one to complain and tried to understand it was a new site and would take awhile. A couple things get fixed and we get our hopes up but in reality not much is getting corrected. Actually things go in the wrong direction. for 3 or 4 days now it takes 15 to 30 seconds to log on. Keep in mind I have this problem on different computers and different locations. Yea I know this isn't the correct place and sorry about that but time to get the things that are in place right now working correctly and than add and correct things. Than is something goes down at least one could go back and undo what was just changed and correct it. Jumping all over the place doesn't appear to be the solution.

Oh this is not good. I just used the function in Impulse to email me my registrations information and I got an email back to change my password.
Something seems to be broken. ![]()

I have poked the appropriate people for both problems and the problems are being looked into.

Not good is right but I wouldn't change my password you may never get logged on again. Like I said above. When there are continuing problems one thing at a time needs to be corrected the site tested and if all works fine fix another problem. Fixing 5 problems at a time and than something else goes wrong you don't know where to go except to get lucky or undo all 5 fixes and start over. I really do understand problems and not going to say another word or complain only wanted to make a suggestion.

Okay folks, part of the problem has been fixed. I can now click on Account and then click Registrations and get a download link for any skin or gadget/widget in either WC or Impulse. ![]()
I tried the email function in Impulse to get my serial information and still got the email to change my password. ![]()

I posted something about this problem little while ago, I got no response, I'm glad to see that the problem has been looked at.

The download links via WC/Impulse might still be a bit wonky. If that is the case, you can try downloading from here: https://forums.stardock.com/account/regs
They are working on getting it all properly working. As for the password change email issue, not sure when that will be hammered out but it is in line.
