'Payed' is not the past tense of 'pay'; that's the sort of thing you learn as an infant.

Naaah....you're sweet. Besides, we all make errors. That's the reason for the speel checker.

I take offense to that, Doc. ......................Just kidding. However, last quarter I managed to write a 10 page organic chemistry lab report with no spelling errors. The title was “Multistep Synthesis of Tetraphenylcyclopentadienone” and proofing tools were useless.

That's 5 by my count. 
And the smiley says something... so, Jafo HAS spoken.
However, I'm not expecting Zubaz to make an appearance here... not with the way some meanies pick on him. 
Apart from the usual culprits above, what pisses me off is when people say "than" when they should be saying 'then'... and "then" when they mean 'than'.
Something else that ticks me off is when the apostrophe is left out of you're' you'll, they've, don't... and can't, which a typo can turn real ugly real fast.
