SkinStudio - Mouseover buttons
Friday, May 21, 2010 by theimaginaryage | Discussion: New Users
Hi all, I have just recently started using WindowBlinds, Skinstudio etc. and am loving them!
I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having. As a new user I am finding it easiest at first to just mix and match different parts of different skins that I like. Today, I started from the Sabertooth skin but tried adding different buttons for Close, Restore, Minimise and Maximise. I have found that since the Sabertooth buttons all reverted to their mouseover frame when any one of them was moused over, the same thing happens now with the new buttons. My question is, is there a way to disable this association? I would like each button to show it's mouseover state individually, if possible.
Thanks, and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. ![]()

No, I didn't move anything. There does not appear to be an overlap - by holding down my click while moving the mouse I see that the buttons change to pressed state individually just fine...

Using skin studio 7....Select, from the left, Edit Title bars and Window frames.
Select, Edit per-pixel frames.
Select, from the bottom list, Extra Settings. Scroll down to Enable mouse over on all buttons. Make sure it's de-selected.
Save and apply.
All done! ![]()

Hmmmm, you must have something set differently as all my titlebar buttons act individually when moused over. Did you mess with any of the positioning settings on the images? If they overlap that may cause an issue such as this.
