who rates the wallpapers?

I was just wondering about the wallpaper ratings. I've seen a lot of wallpapers that have 5 stars on them and they aren't that great! I've seen some with 2&3 stars that I thought were a lot better. How do you rate them and who does the rating? Just something I've wondered about for a long time now. I'm not trying to complain about anyone's work, I'm just curious!

Ratings, download count, Who cares?
Just because something has a high download count does not mean everyone who downloaded it is going to use it or even like it.
As for the ratings, they could go away as far as I am concerned. To many people get all upset over nothing but how many stars there work has.
To me the only thing that should matter to the artist is how they feel about there own work, not what everybody else thinks.If people think it is good they will comment on how good it is and not by how many stars it is worth.
If and when I upload something and it only gets a half a star or just a couple downloads, I could care less as long as I am happy with the work I had done!

Yes, you're very right DrJBHL, I never thought of it that way. I guess I've always cared too much what others think of me and it shouldn't matter at all. Ok! Darn it anyway! I'm lettin it go now. Heiger, you're right too, and Frankie, we're that good, aren't we?

Ladies....you both are superb artists.You both rate 'Tops' in my book (if that counts for anything).
Have you ever considered that those 'ratings' (especially the low ones) are given by people with no talent to create original works? They might just be rating works which are beautiful out of spite.
jazzilady, you live in less than a perfect world....with angry people. Let it go...and move on.
