Windows XP64 compatibility with 2 beta
Tuesday, May 4, 2010 by UweR | Discussion: ObjectDock
As originally stated by stardock not to be compatible with XP64 i am happy to report
that i have installed and tested ObjectDock2 beta for a whole day now
and found so far absolutely no problems.
Especially tray and startmenu funktions well.
Also i was able to use impulse (stated not compatible with XP64) to install the 2beta upgrade,
positively surprised that all my settings from vers. 1.x survived the upgrade process.
(Remembering that the upgrade from vers. 1.9 free to 1.9 plus was devastating all settings)
Really the best invention since sliced bread (OpenDock) kind of poor mans Macintosh
(I loved Macs at the times i not had to pay my computers myself)

It's worth noting that when our applications are written, we don't test them on Windows XP x64. However, that doesn't mean that they will always fail, it just means that Windows XP x64 isn't a supported platform. In other words, it may or may not work, and if it doesn't we won't be able to provide technical support to aide in making it work.
