Vista Nav pane pain
Friday, April 2, 2010 by I.R. Brainiac | Discussion: Windows Vista
I have googled myself silly on this but no luck.
The folders pane auto expands the tree to whatever folder I am currently in.For me this makes it nearly useless and it gets long really fast and dosnt auto collapse.
7 dosnt do this unless you tell it to.How do I stop Vista from doing it.I want to use it to NAVIGATE...I cant very well use it for that if its showing me where I AM...I KNOW where I am...I want to be able to see where I want to go.
I unchecked(and checked) the box for display simple folder view in navigation pane.

I hate the way it jumps around when I try to drop something on it.
