CFX locks up with Picasa Photo Viewer

Every time I view an image with Picasa Photo Viewer, CFX completely locks up and spikes out my CPU. I have to navigate blind to try to kill the process and re-enable the default Windows cursor. Has anyone else noticed this? It's a major annoyance seeing as how I can't even view an image without my system locking up and being unusable.
Windows 7 Pro x64, CFX+ 2.02.

Yeah when I view an image it opens fullscreen (default, with a trans gray type overlay), then the cursor changes to the move cursor and completely locks up my system, pegging out my CPU. The only way to fix it is to kill the process and change back to the default Windows cursor. It also happened again today when my mom was browsing something that used Google Maps (or some other map thing). I've had to completely disable the program now to avoid it locking up again. 
It doesn't happen with the main Picasa program, only the photo viewer.

Keep trying to edit the post and it won't save the changes...

Any specific pages when in Firefox or just in general?

The first time my mom was trying to get to google to log into her gmail, the second time was some real estate site that used maps (google or some other).

It sounds kinda paranoid, but that's just too much coincidence. Google was prob 'talkin' to Google. If it happens again or try to provoke it...have the task manager open and see if something's soaking all your RAM...Also, cut your connection to the Net. See if that doesn't free it suddenly.... I'm probably wrong, though.

Yeah does seem like a coincidence huh? I also can't remember if it started before or after I switched out my mobo for a new one.

What sort of video hardware are you running on? Also, does this only happen when the Picasa viewer is fullscreened?
