Clock with wrong time. need help

Someone downloaded one of my clocks ant the time is an hour behind what her actual time is (eastern). I thought the clocks automatically detect their time. If not, is there some way to fix this? The clock she mentions is OctoClock2 .

Also has some clocks that the hands do not show. The only thing I can think of is missing .dll files in the SDplugins folder. Is there something else?

Are they running windows 7 64 bit? Some of the plug ins do not play well with 64 bit. I switched  to a scripted clock so they will work on 64 bit.

Well I see you are using a script so it wouldn't have any thing to do with the plug ins as a plug in is not used. I think your problem may be in the parent child relations. 
 
When I first loaded  your clock the hands were off center. I moved the clock and the hands centered themselves but was an hour off. While checking properties but  of your clock the hands became un-centered  again only in a different location. Moved the clock again and the hands centered themselves and showed the correct time. I think if you make all hands a child of your center object and set Z order it might solve your problem as long as all hands center objects have the same with and height.
 
As a side note (4) should be IV not IIII.    6 should read from left to right VI and 7 should be VII.

Murex, thank you. I will check out what you said about the parent child relations. I usually highlight the hour/minute/second/center and set parent to the clockface, but when I group the objects (default being Optimized, generate parent/child relationships) the order most times changes. I believe that is my big problem. Is is ok if I group and use the first option which is (Normal)? I believe that would not change anything around. Do I have to group? If not, what will that do?

First of all it is important to have a center point for the hands to rotate around. I noticed  some of your hands had a (0) (0) setting. There are many ways to do something and this is just the way I do it.
 
Ok I am just using a number I usually use.  The clock body or back what ever you want to call it will be 150X150 pix now this will be canvas size.  Now the hands will be what ever you want  x 150 again the 150 is canvas size. make you hands the way you want and then center the center point your hands which will be 75 pix
 
Your center piece that has the script in it will also have a canvas size of 150 x 150. but the image will be the size you want.  Now every thing will have the same center point.
 
At this point I set the center point as a child of clock back and the hands as children of the center face and give them all the same group name. then set the z order of the hands and center face.  Every thing gets the same group name it's what holds it all together.  every thing now has the same center point

Murex, I believe i am starting to understand more. Not sure I understand completely the child/children you mention. So if I make a clock using the same canvas size (that I understand), then, what I understand is: Right click on Center and set parent to Clock back, then click the hands and set their parent to the Center. I hope i understood this, don't want to take up too much of your time.

For grouping, may I choose the option Normal, because the other option does change the parent/child relationships.

Thanks for your help. I'll Try to download some clocks to see if I can find one that is done like you explained, it is easier sometimes when you see how it is done.

Murex, If it would be easier, I made an example clock with the same canvas size for the clock face, hands and center. Would it be easier for you if I sent you the images and you put the child, parent relations and I could see how it should be?

Hi Murex again... I just put together a clock with the same canvas size for all images, and tried to set the parent child relationships myself,  I could send it to you if you like.

What I did notice is that when i set the parent for the Center to the clock face, the center button seems to go under the clock hands, and I tried the Z order (move to top) but it does not work. I have a feeling other things are not quite right. So let me know if you want me to send you the clock.
