Time for a bit of color

As some of you may know, I work on a passenger ferry and am out at sea for 2 weeks at a time. This relative isolation give me plenty of time to sit in my cabin and doodle.
Sometimes inspiration comes to me in funny ways. Take for instance my razor. I was shaving before work and I started to admire the colors of my Gillette Fusion
I thought, "those colors would make a nice blind"
This is what came out of that thought
I don't know why I called it Blue Wing......it's just the name that popped into my head

Looking good, Tim.
Liked the first 'version' better though, but hey.... I'm just a 12th year skinning veteran

The colors are great. I get a little tired f gray and black. This is warm and pleasant. I like the rounded shapes too. Hope you finish it fast cause I WANT IT!!!

It's looking good Tim. I have a personal prefernce for NOT having white backgrounds......but that's just me. I will likely change it to light gray or very light blue.
I'm curious about the taskbar mouse overs........orange highlight maybe?

I'm there with you on that, Mike. But Stardock made me change the background to white in order to get protector through moderation. Funny really.....I can't imagine I'm the only one who's done anything else than white (think VOX and Krome as examples, but I guess john offered a light substyle in those cases)

I hear you, but ultimatly John may be right.....not everyone likes branding on a skin.

I have decided to put the brand back into the blind. What I'll do, is offer a substyle without it as well.....that way, everybody wins

As you know, I'm bound to change something important as I go along.....may be better to wait. Relax, I'm almost done vistaing this puppy. Xp and Win7 not started. Plenty of time since I don't have a win7 machine at the moment (Getting it next month)

Update
I have removed the branding per John's suggestion. I'm looking into a logo type thingy for the orb at the top of the startpanel because it seems a bit bare/unfinished. Don't know what I'll do there
The red button in the logoff section on the startpanel is the shutdown/install state........the glyphs have an orange mouseover
