Probleme with WindowsBlind 7

I am Gerry, a verry frustratet Austrian and my spelling may be terrible! But I am reale asking for help to anybody for my problem. I work with WindowsBlinds 7 and trie to change the Explorer background. I had succsess partli and I even made my on pattern. But as soon as I change anything else, like Color or Transperency, the Background is gon again 
Can anybody tell me what Im tuing wrong?
