Sysmetrix themes
Sunday, February 21, 2010 by Hypnotic_wj | Discussion: OS Customization
How do I change from the default sys metrix skin? This is what I did:
right click sysmetrix config
import
found the filename.smx
but then it says "theme was unable to be imported. Perhaps the archive file is corrupt"
I tried re downloading the file and re installing sys metrix.
What am i doing wrong?

There are two possibilities as far as I can tell. Changing the default skin is done by right-click/configuration and select the wanted theme and click "load". Since you mentioned "import" I assume you want to install a new theme. That is done by choosing "import", browse to the smx file (it should also be able to import zipfiles as long as there are not multiple theme in the package).
Installing a new theme can also be done by unpacking or copying the smx file to the appropriate directory (sysmetrix/themes/themename)
