Ok, so after waiting a while, I finally got Windows 7. YEAAAA ME.
But nothing is ever to perfect. I have a couple of
's that need some answers.
1) Why doesn't my IP 5 skin all of my icons? I upgraded from Vista Ultimate. During the time I had Vista, i never had a problem with IP 5. It skined what it was suppose to. In Windows 7 (wich i have Ultimate by the way too) the Downloads folder wont change, the Quick Launch Icons won't change and other Folders won't change.
2) Now my question on my windows score. Everything else seems to be fine. The numbers didn't change. I would like to know if Windows 7 cause something because my score for Areo Experince went down by .6.

What video card do you have? Have you downloaded the drivers from the card manufactures website or did you use the default MS drivers that loaded during Windows install?
I have a Nividia GeForce 6200...(kinda sucky but it was the only thing affordable at the time. I didn't download the drivers for the card from the site it showed updates for the card in Windows Update. Does that mean that I am using MS drivers?

Download the drivers from Nvidia.com and give that a try.

Not sure...but I think the max score available is higher with the newer OS...so the same hardware rates lower....![]()

I have the same thing going on iKashmir. My score went down when I installed windows 7. I tried installing many different drivers and nothing helped. However, everything seems to be working fine and everything looks just as good as it did on vista, so eh....whatever.

More than likely the drivers for your video card are not as tweaked as the Vista drivers were.
