DX Script typing issue

Tuesday, December 29, 2009 by Phoon | Discussion: DesktopX

Here's an odd one.

On Windows 7 x64 Ultimate I'm running DesktopX Pro 3.5. I've created a script and part of that script has a "\" in it.

I cannot type the \ character. I get some funky weeeeirrrd symbol when I do. On Server 2003 I can type it just fine, with the same keyboard.

Yep, it's been doing that for a long time. I think it's only a bug in the editor (and whatever edit/syntax coloring component they are using) and the code will actually work fine (although I'm not sure if it will in case it's in a string to display)

Yeah it gives you a crossed out W, but it will work fine, even in strings to display.
