DXPro not showing in Impulse
Tuesday, December 29, 2009 by Phoon | Discussion: DesktopX
On my Windows 7 system, Impulse shows my purchase of DesktopX Professional.
On my Windows Server 2003 system it will not show, nor will it allow me to register it in Impulse. I've uninistalled Impulse and reinstalled and yet DestopX Professional refuses to show up. I've also unchecked the option to show Betas. Any ideas?

Well this is just annoying as hell.
Version of Impulse matches on both systems. ( 3.23.457 (Build 1309)) yet DesktopX Professional will not show up on the Server 2003 system. Impulse settings are identical on both systems also.
I've blown away impulse on the system and re-installed, still no luck.

So could it be that Server 2003 has something to do with it? Just making a guess here, if everything else is the same on both computers.

I'm going to have to do some further testing on this to see. I'll have to whip up a server 2003 VM and try. And also try it on XP.

got it to show by running a reg file which prompted me to re-enter my account info.
However, DesktopX Pro v 3.89 BETA (1/6/2010) is not compatable with Server 2003 SP2?????

If it's not showing as grayed out but available on the My Software tab click on view and makes sure something didn't change there.
