Truncated text in Start Menu Program List
How do I un-truncate?
Thursday, December 24, 2009 by 1ph8 | Discussion: Skinning
I'm unable to get the text in the Start Menu Program List to cease truncating. I'm using SKS7. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Yeah, I've tried fiddling with the text margins settings, but nothing I do changes the truncation. Thanks for the suggestion though!
I just don't know if there's some other setting somewhere that I haven't been able to find that will take care of this thing. I guess I'll keep at it...

try using small icons instead of large ones, that might do the trick.

That mousover...is that button looking thing on it part of the mousover? If it is, it may be part of the problem. You need to have the right text margin of the mouseover at 0-2 pixels as well. Also, make sure your programs panel itself is wide enough...I usually make mine around 230-250 px wide.

It's something in the skin - it doesn't show that way when I use a different skin. I want to package it and post it, but I want it to be right.

No, it's my cursor. I'll keep fiddling with later - thanks for the suggestions!

I hope you move the whole Start Menu over a bit to the right....otherwise it might go off the screen at the left.

From what I saw in the screenshot, you need to move the right margins over some....try making the right text margin 2 or 3 pixels...that's what I usually do. BTW, I tried responding to this yesterday, but it wouldn't take!
