1.
the text margins on the Windows 7 taskbar buttons. The right and left margins don't seem to have any effect at all. Look at how the icon and text overlap the details on each end of the button
Here's the same skin on Vista
2.
Win7 show desktop button: In order for the show desktop button to blend into the taskbar, one has to add the line: BackgroundEffect=1 to the code section. There should probably be something in the extra tab to check off instead of adding the code manually
3.
The IE tab close button does not work. The button stays default unless you skin the tooltip button. Then it will use that image
Of course this is the IE 7 tabs and close button, because the damn tabs aren't even skinned on IE8!
IE favorites menu remains unskinned.....it's still using the classic colors 
I'm at a stand still skinning wise. I cannot finish my skins untill these issues get resolved

Can IE8 tabs be skinned? Or is it simply not supported yet?

IE8 tabs cannot be skinned currently.
Due to how IE8 recolours tabs for different types of site they changed from being a bitmap.

It took you this long to notice that? There are so many issues with SKS 7 that I gave up a long time ago. Like the places bar font and text settings when designing an XP skin don't work at all, like a lot of the Help areas have the sequence of images listed wrong (Normal, Mouseover, etc.), like some of the Help areas having 6 items shown for a button that only uses two images, like having to go into the code editor to make changes to text and font settings being the only way to get them to work. Like.... like.... like... the list goes on and on. Oh, and what the heck are "Reserved" Frame Order areas for in images anyway?
Neil, nothing against you or Stardock personally, but IMO someone needs to sit down and actually use SKS 7 almost as a full time job to make sure all the bugs are out of it. It is a fantastic concept, but just needs a lot of polishing.

I have noticed with the command bar buttons in win7 the "Reserved" frames when you put the image of your normal button in the first reserved spot and the mouseover in the second reserved spot it makes the button to choose icon size/details/tiles etc. act as seperate buttons.

Also you said "currently", does this mean that you are still working on a solution or that is cannot be done at all?
If it comes down to never being able to skin the tabs (which I could live with, I guess 
)....can we at least get the toolbars skinnable?

New Bug:
The Vertical Taskbar Mouseover Mask is using the image and margins from the Horizontal Taskbar Mouseover Mask.
My buttons for the vertical taskbar are shorter in width (more space between) than the horizontal ones. I made a mask to fit them so the glow would not show through. It has no effect at all. So I chopped off the edges of the mask on the horizontal bar to fit, and applied it. That changed it.
So, as it stands, anyone wanting to use the glow feature on their buttons will have to have the buttons exactly the same for both taskbars.

The problem with the vertical taskbar mask has been reproduced and resolved for the next build. It was a section naming issue.

perpixel=1 has to be written into the codex just about for everything that is png at the moment in sk7 can this please be fixed.

The frame order is wrong for the tray arrow and for the more programs arrow sections.

As it happens you can already move them right by using the left content margin on the StartPanel.ShutdownArrow section.

You don't need to worry about bumping this one. SKS is due a 7.01 update soon and I will be looking at this thread, though some of the issues may be nothing to do with SKS itself. SKS only writes info to files for WB to use, it doesn't add new WB features (though it can sometimes expose features that WB has that have not been in SKS before)
