WB7 doesn't shrink buttons with skins like Aero does
Or does it?

It doesn't for me. With only two system tray icons showing, I can only get 17 icons on the bar without it doubling up. It doesn't stretch with any skin. With some skins, I get even less. Why doesn't it shrink, or is something wrong with my system?

If you have a multi line taskbar they will go to multi line without shrinking as thats how windows works. It would only start to shrink when there is no room for any more.
Likewise they group themselves based on the number of any one app running and based on the space available. There should be no difference between this with WB running and without WB running other than a larger start button or tray area will naturally reduce the amount of room for taskbar buttons and so could cause them to group quicker.

Some skins have a smaller button than the Aero Orb, and they still don't expand. http://yfrog.com/6tcaptureyxp I put anymore icons on there and it doubles over to the next bar. With Aero it shrinks to fit around five more icons. It simply doesn't with windowblinds.
