Windowblinds Quick Launch Button Snag...

I have some nice round glassy Quick Launch buttons on my new skin. They look fine, but I also have a custom toolbar which only shows half a button! Changing the borders etc spoils the round QL button. Apart from using a more square button I don't see anyway round this. Any ideas?

I haven't figured out yet how to use those buttons. Maybe I'll struggle with it on the next skin.

Check to see if it requires more image states.Maybe it's showing half the image at a time because it uses the other half in another state.

I've uploaded a snap to my Current desktop. The cut and paste is a bit crude but you can see what I mean. Also large parts of the skin aren't finished yet...
The QL button is OK, the borders being correct, but the custom toolbar button is cut in half due to it being a smaller size. A square button with narrower margins would shrink ok - a round button doesn't. I want a round button!

Here's an Idea, There are 3 states defined as unused in skinstudio, are they all pink (transparent)? I tend to use the same image for taskbar and ql so mine aren't. I usually have an image for the first state rather than transaparency and I have the same problem you do on the quicklaunch arrow though. Since it looks like that part wants to use your mouseover state, it probably can'y be changed.

Dont suppose there is any kind of minimum size setting like there is for thumb scrollers in the scrollbars section?

Did anybody come up with a solution for this? The best I could do was tile the middle bitmap, that at least got me a circle with the left and right quarters chopped off.

The only other way is not to skin the QL buttons. The QL button then gets it's skin from the taskbar button, the QL arrow and custom toolbar buttons aren't then skinned at all. Not very satisfactory.
