Master skin ranting...

Every now and then someone complains about being charged for skins. It just bugs me alot, so here's something for you to consider:
You buy a car, do you expect to get a new custom paintjob for that car for free?
You buy a house, do you expect to get free wallpapers, furniture and gardening?
You buy Microsoft Office, do you expect to get all your documents typed up for you for free?
You buy Windows 7, do you expect to get all software for it for free?
You buy a stereo, do you expect to get all the music for free?
No, you don't. You KNOW people like to get paid for the work they do.
Now ask yourself: Why do you expect ALL skins to be free?

I find great value in both the software(ODNT Ultimate and OD Plus) and the content available in the galleries, free and paid. If you don't like Stardock software or the skins available on WC then maybe you need to move along,nothing to see here.

I absolutely agree. I'm sick to death with the whining and people claiming their singular views are universal. I like the idea people can post about bugs in the software or problems they are having. I try to help as do many others. That makes the Community what it is.
As for skins? There are free ones and some for sale. I agree with Mick, Snowy and all the others who justify and agree with the idea that time/software/effort and skill should be remunerated when they reach a certain level.
If you can't see the logic of those arguments you should move on...

Anyways, anyone who says that the basic Aero theme has more features than WB is crazy.

You definitely do not speak for the community as I for one am happy they are capitalist and have created these fine products for me to purchase and enjoy.
It's interesting that you say that Stardock’s products are a complete waste of money yet you show to be a current customer. By definition that would make you an oxymoron.

According to your profile, you have never downloaded anything...so how can you say a master skin is not worth the measly ammount that is charged for it.
According to your profile, you have never contributed a skin of any kind....until you make a windowblind, you have no idea what it takes to put one together, or the length of time it takes.
Go somewhere else to troll.
