Practical tips

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 by DPCloud | Discussion: Community

This post is about anything you find practical; home remedies, cleaning tips, tips about computing or anything else you find useful.

Home remedy;

To treat a minor burn crack an egg and put some of the egg white directly on the burn, allow it to dry. It will not cure the burn but will relieve the pain.

Wasp, Bee or most other stings;

Take some tobacco, wet it and place directly on the sting. This will relieve the pain almost instantly.

Cleaning a micro-wave;

Take a small glass or coffee cup; fill it a quarter way full with vinegar and another quarter with water. Micro-wave it 3 or 4 minutes, or whatever it takes to boil water. Allow it to sit 5 minutes then wipe micro-wave clean.

You can use Bounce sheets for tons of things, air freshening being my favorite. drop one behind the dresser every week or so.

Fill a knee high cotton sock with raw, uncooked rice. Sew it shut. When you have a muscle tension headache or stiff neck muscles (or arm or leg muscles) pop it into the microwave oven (for about 5 minutes) then wrap it around your neck....make sure it's not too hot, first.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.....

Also makes a great airplane neck cushion.

Another recipe:

For a wet cell phone... dry it and shake off the water...then put in a bowel of rice, covering the phone completely. Seal with Plastic wrap. Wait 24-48 hrs...should be back to working.

Fill a knee high sock with small coins, like pennies. Sew it shut. Place it next to the drivers seat in your car. When someone pisses you off in traffic, chase them to the next light and Beat the s**t out of them with the coin filled sock. Works for me!!

If you're a long time smoker and doing any physical activity that causes shortness of breath, take a break and smoke a cigarette.

Wet tobacco relieves bee stings!

Honey is a natural antiseptic.

Once you use the honey ,you may need the wet tobacco real soon depending on your location.

if you have a headache, drink water, a  headache is caused by the body actually sucking water from the brain. basically it means your body is dehydrated. 8 glasses a day fixes that.

if you drool while you sleep, it means you need more salt in your diet.

water also helps with heartburn, reflux ect.

put honey over minor burns, it stops the sting.

fasting detoxes the body of all rubbish, cleans away dead cells, and heals yr body,

drinking freshy squeezed lemon juice with water also helps with toxins in the body.
