one of the above keeps going to 2008 plus it keeps hanging in impulse when i install it. windowblinds installes but in impulse it keeps saying installing with no change to installed in the end i have to close impulse & restart impulse then windowblinds works any info

ok thx, any ideas why impulse hangs on blinds install ![]()

It's possible some external (security) application may be grabbing hold of the file while Impulse is attempting to install it. Do you have anything else running that may possibly be interfering?

Have you turned off the antivirals and firewalls? Then, after installation, don't forget to turn them back on!

Only do this if your computer is on a private network (hooked up to a router with NAT) and not directly connected to the internet.

i had to do a fresh install so it is fine now apart from it crashes a lot i mean blinds 7 i have to restart explorer 5 times a day the task bar frezes & bits of it dissapier so a bit lost at the moment in as what to do i no it is a beta but are there programs or things that clash with it because every thing is fine if i use the standard bar of win 7

It's most likely your graphics driver that causes the crashes. I've had a few explorer crashes since I installed 7, but none of them has been related to WB.

That file being dated 2008 is not a problem.
The build you have appears to be the latest.
