Windows Update wont work

I get the Windows Update tray icon saying new updates are available, but when i go to updates it says "The page failed to load".So I cannnot get any updates! I went to the microsoft site to find any solutions but nothing worked.Does anyone know of a way to fix this so I can get the Windows Updates? Any help would be much appreciated!

I have the same problem and it just started a couple of days ago. I'm usung the same WB6 version I had been using. Could that really be the problem? I haven't seen any updates available for me on Impulse....

Well, I went and checked Impulse again and there it was, an update! I got it and then looked at the Windows Update page--it worked! Not only that, but there was a new interface! Did you guys do that?

The new interface for Windows Update was installed by the update from Microsoft We are currently speaking to Microsoft about it not working with earlier versions of WB.

Yeah, I pretty much figured it was MS. I was just teasing you! You do so many other things though, it wouldn't surprise me if it WAS you!

Ok, Guess I'll have to wait til Microsoft fixes it to work with WB 6! Thanks for the help and info everyone!

windowblinds update fixed my same problem too with the windowsupdate page not working.

That was fixed in a previous WB7 update. Open Impulse and see if you have any updates.
