Logon Studio Limitations?
Thursday, September 17, 2009 by Phoon | Discussion: OS Customization
I used to be an avid user of Logon Studio with XP. After careful consideration I decided to try Logon Studio Vista on Windows 7 (After reading the promo by Island Dog). Yes, it works but...
BORING AS HELL! What happened to all the tweaks that you could do with XP Logons? Is this just not at all possible with Windows 7.
I mean, it's nice to have a different background, but that is absolutely all it does. Nothing else?

And since you can't use PrintScreen for a screenie of it, you either have to make a PSD with all of the elements and change the wall to get a preview, have no preview at all, just a pic of the wall, or I hear you can take a screenie with a VM, haven't tried.

Unfortunatly, Microsft severly limited what could be done with the logon. We are as displeased as you.
