DeskScapes Problem
DeskScapes Refuses to Open.
Thursday, September 3, 2009 by BlackWingedAngelInc | Discussion: DeskScapes
Hello. My name is Dark and I'm new to this community. ![]()
Recently I downloaded the free public version of DeskScapes. After installing it, I decided to run it. However, it won't open. No matter how hard I try, it just won't. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. However, they don't work either.
I'm using Windows Vista™, which is my operating system. I wouldn't have a clue of what else to tell you about my system because I don't know much about it.
Thanks if you're able to assist me with my problem.
~Dark

Right-click on your desktop and choose personalize. Then choose Desktop Background.
Then select "Animated wallpaper" (I think)
Select a dream.
Nope, that dosen't work either. And I downloaded it from the Stardock website. And I think it redirected me to cnet.com to download it from there.
It's mainly the program I want to work though (aswell as the animated wallpapers).
So I don't know what to do...
Anyways, thanks.
Edit: Actually I saw someone somewhere with the same problem, though they didn't quite share how they fixed the problem...

The program IS the animated wallpaper. In the current, production version, it's integrated into Windows. The new beta, that runs as a stand-alone app, is only for ObjectDesktop subscribers.
The wallpapers arn't in the Desktop Backround list anymore. And when they were, they never did work. ![]()
Also my older brother is having trouble using the grassy dream. *Sigh*
