slow startup and displays all icons first before reverting to original state

It loads a bit slow on startup and displays all my icons before reverting to the state it was when i shut it down(e.g. hidden fences or displayed fences). Anyone else experienced this? This isn't that big of a deal to me but if possible, I prefer that fences should load faster and should not show all icons first upon startup.
