Request for a Dream
Thursday, July 23, 2009 by Malachi2012 | Discussion: Animated Wallpapers
Hi there, I just bought DeskScapes, and gotta say this thing is amazing. These animated wallpapers are so cool!
Anyways, I was wondering if it's possible to turn my old wallpaper into an animated one? Like, add some shadow effects or make the lines move or something?
This is the picture:

So what do you guys think? Can anything be done with it?
Oh, one more thing: Are there any World of Warcraft or Star Wars animated wallpapers already created? =D

There's one Star Wars dream I know of, it can be found here...
Since I have taken Amit as a Padawan learner, I'm glad to see he is going to create the dream for you.

Thanks for all the replies!
I'm not sure exactly where I got the picture from, I've had it for a long long time. I usually get my pics from google searches, so it could be from anywhere...
I'm checking that ArtStudio thing out, although I'm not very good at designing stuff or using programs such as that. I'll be lucky if I can even get it to work, let alone look good, lol!
You'd be my best friend, amit, if you created it for me =D.

If you would have visited the gallery earlier, you could have downloaded it but I requested for it to be pulled down from the gallery as the picture is not yours and you do not have permission to use it, if you get a permission from the original author of the image, I can re-upload it to the gallery.
Don't get disappointed my friend, infact I would love creating another for you, but this time make sure that the image is yours or you have the permission to use it.

Get ArtSudio and add effects with that to your static images then export as avi (or as a scr for a screensaver), then convert your avi to a mpg or wmv to load in DreamMaker, look at the examples in ArtStudio to see what can be done - rain, snow, clouds, water, lightning, bird wings flapping, lighting effects, neon etc - it is all experimental in the beginning but effects are realistic.
Samples here, trial version available, around €25 to buy.
