I just wanted to say that I am in the process of updating all my themes to have no weather widget so they will work for everyone. I will, in the future, upload matching weather widgets for those who wish to sign up at weather.com. Or for whatever weather scripts the gurus come up with...lol. For those who don't wish to sign up anywhere, my weather free themes will work.
I will start renewing my gallery from the most recent, to the oldest, in that order. Slimmer DX is in the gallery and working. I have just updated Dark Matters DX and it is in moderation.
Thank you for your patience, and if you have the previous versions of my themes, please delete them before installing the new ones.

It's a shame that you have to go all through that Jim. Hopefully a new option like a new script for weather will be made available for skinners like yourself. It would be a shame to lose the weather function from yours and others DX Themes.

July 20th is the day we will start removing widgets. After that point, removed and now updated skins can be submitted.
It is possible that there will be a gap of time where the broken widgets are not in the gallery . . but is that a really bad thing?

Reading in one of his other posts it seemed that he was worried about getting them all done before then. I'm offering to help if I can. Don't read anything into the post, I meant no disrespect.

CG....that was really nice of you to offer to help Jim. 
Everything's gonna be just fine....you'll see. As for the time frame? Maybe that'll be rethought....or extended in the case of people who've contributed so extensively to making DX what it is. After all, their beautiful and highly functional art does help SD sell DX.
I didn't read through the WW thread. If there's a legal issue of a deadline being imposed by weather.com, that's one thing. If there isn't...then relax. Remember Dr. Sydney Friedman's advice on M*A*S*H*...."Boys and girls, take my advice: Lower your pants and slide on the ice."
It's a tough situation, not of SD's making nor the artists...why not do our best as a Community...like CarsGuy1...and help each other as best we can.

Philly, once this weather widget thing is behind us, I will create weather widgets to match my themes and allow for upload for the ones who don't mind signing up or whatever it takes. In case this kind of thing happens in the future, and it will, I don't want to have to go through all this again. I realize that my download count reinstatement won't be happening now, but as they say...Que So What, So What!

I think I misunderstood earlier and brought about that idea. I now realize that all I need to do is get whatever themes/widgets I need, that I don't already have copies of, downloaded to my PC so that I can reup. After the 20th, the un-updated ones will be removed from the galleries, Right Zu?
In other words, I don't have to reup them all by the 20th, I just need to get what I need by then, if possible.
At any rate, Mike, I really appreciate the offer, but I will be removing the weather from my themes, and this will require holes to be filled, etc. I'm not really sure there's any way anyone can help me, other than the mods to help us all by swiftly moderating. Zubaz, for one, is good at that task. Thanx, Zu!

I have 4 weather free , working themes in the gallery. I will probably have the Darkness DX Metallic Pack (7 themes) and Darkness DX Colors Pack (5 themes) in moderation by 9-9:30 this evening. More to come!

I vote inplace of weather sections all themes are added with a "HG pic" section with various pics of me eating pizza. and a url to buy me a free one.. I really think this could be a big hit and boost DX themes..
