Snapshots with DreamScene show a black wallpaper

That screenshot was made by Fences, not some other program. Fences is mainly only storing your current background and the position of Fences. What I showed above was just a reproduction made by Fences.

Ah . . I understand.
Fences has an option to take a snapshot of your fence layout for later restoration. Typically the wallpaper is displayed.
When you have a dream running the background is black. This can make it more difficult to see your fences. The issue is magnified if you are running multiple monitors as everything is reduced to fit into the snapshot dimensions.
The last item can be mitigated by resizing the Restore Snapshot window though.
I'll pass this feedback on to the dev.

Same problem with dual screen snapshot, Black Background only. I do not use dreamscapes just wallpaper. This problem doesn't always occur seems like it randomly happens.

When I use the print sceen key on my keyboard and paste the screenshot into a program like MS Paint, it works fine.
Could be your setup or the way your getting your screenshot.
