So the answer is no then.
I hope you invent something someday and someone comes along and steals it from you. Then you will understand. ![]()

Ah . . that clause makes it very clear how Blizzard feels about it. Unfortunatly it will have to be removed according to Wincustomize policies.
I am sure that every artist wants WC to treat all submissions equally.

You're new to skinning so I'm going to take you aside and tell it to you gently. WC has zero tolerance for thieves. It's true, there are loads of mods across the internet, but THIS SITE is not like most -- this site holds skinners to a higher level of integrity. If you want to mod official sounds without permission, you're going to need to upload them somewhere else, because if the moderators find out what you've done, you'll have a hard time getting anything else uploaded here, and you may even find yourself banned all together.
If you care enough to upload for others, then you should care enough to upload the correct way, which is to first get permission. Also, pulling that sort of attitude when you're a newb, won't win you any points in the WinCustomize community, either. You shouldn't get all butch here until you've earned the right.
...I'm just tryin' to help you out, since you're ignorant to how things run here.

*Heavy sigh* You were/are a problem child, weren't you? ![]()
Blizzard Entertainment® hereby grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non- assignable license to use and display, for home, noncommercial and personal use only, one copy of any material and/or software that you may download from this site, including, but not limited to, any files, codes, audio or images incorporated in or generated by the software (collectively the "Downloaded Content") provided, however, that you must include or maintain all copyright and other notices contained or associated with such Downloaded Content. In the future, when you use the work of others, which includes parts of their work, you need to include the permission in the upload -- not just stated -- you need to include an e-mail attachment that says that person gave you permission. Just looking at the WoW sight isn't enough. WoW is owned by Blizzard -- you need to go to the Blizzard site/Blizzard's lawyers.

What you don't realize is that when Blizzard catches you they will ban you from their servers and you'll really be sorry then.

darkforester .... Wincustomize.com is a USA-based site and thus abides by US Law, not EU.
Determination of what may or may not constitute Copyright violation is the responsibility of its [the site] owners.
US Copyright Law makes allowances for 'Fair Use' which MAY include audio and/or video 'sampling' but generally such 'fair use' applies to personal use rather than public redistribution.
If it is determined, either by the Copyright holder [Blizzard] or by the Wincustomize.com administration that a particular 'use' is not acceptable then that is that.
What you may or may not do on your own personal site is specifically between you and the Intellectual Property Owner....![]()

I don't suppose you got Blizzard's permission for this.
