single close and restore button not showing

Need some heeeeelllllllllp.
Neither button shows when the skin is applied even tho they are both present in SKS6.
The positioning is correct...image states correct.I have other skins that are working correctly so its not WB...its something in the skin.
Have looked thru the code...nothing I can see.
I do notice one diff between this skin and the ones that work...SKS labels those as [skinname.UIS] and this one as just [skinname]...in the taskbar and titlebar while the skins are being edited.
It has a uis file and clicking on it will open SKS...but nothing I've tried will get those 2 buttons to work.

OK,John helped me remember long file names can cause images to not show...I feel duh.
How that happened is a mystery because the skin used to be fine...probably an SKS kabingoblooie.
Now my single button shows but wont reposition...its jammed to the edge.

no need to reinstall...thats just the way it works right now...err,dosnt work right now. 
Single close butons are aligned by the settings of the regular close button.
The single has settings,they just dont do anything.

Me too have this prob of single close and restore button not showing.............. so plz help me .............. i found a empty space over there with black colour....

check the image names length...if its real long it wont show...rename the image.
Check your transparency settings...incorrect settings can make an image black.
