Fences changes the icon text color

On installing fences on a winxp pro, sp3, system, the icon text changes color from white to a nasty yellow/brown.
I have no wallpaper and usw a simple blue background

It did it to me too. Changed from black background with white text, to black background with dark blue text. Hmmm.

I've been using it a week XPSP3 Home 32bit
using background or color - icon text color hasn't changed
