skinning is like giving birth -- sometimes the kid you get is everything you'd hoped for and the birth is easy -- sometimes you have a real hard labor and give birth to a fucked up kid -- sometimes you have to abort before it even gets formed all the way -- sometimes you birth them, and have to let them incubate for a while, until they fully "hatch"
i was getting mad at sks6 today and ranting to a good friend and they told me that....so true

It can certainly be a puzzle, but I could never use the word "hate" where skinning is concerned. Right now, it's the only thing keeping me from going on a bloody rampage. It's a low cost, completely legal diversion that takes me out of the madness and chaos that rest of my life has become. Besides....SKS6 never asks to borrow the car, or stays out until 4 a.m., so this "baby" can stay.

For me it is a hobby. It is also a diversion when I'm stressed (...hence, hobby 
). Sometimes, it is that which helps me regain my creativity for my 'paid' projects.
Skinning is something I stumbled upon about a year-and-a-half ago. I'm glad I did!

That's a good state of mind but when they do a WB update and it breaks all your past skins, you just might use the word.

At least you nurture them until such time as they're ready to hatch and join the WC. And the saying......best let that sink in. Knowing what I do about birthing which amounts to absolute zero it sounds right. I think
