Some problems in SKS6 Pro
Friday, June 5, 2009 by queuewindow | Discussion: SkinStudio
I'm trying to create a new per pixel skin, but while the SkinStudio preview reflects the changes, applying the skin changes nothing - it always seems to use the UIS2 frames.
Also, I'm wondering if frame borders (left, right, bottom) are a necessary part of the skin. Ideally I'd like to skin the caption only and leave windows borderless, but I can't find the option to offset the caption such that it doesn't paint over the invisible borders.

Yes, what sections? I'm skinning the frames under "edit titlebars and window frames" -> "edit per pixel frames".
Will applying a transparent border still allow me to resize?

Are you postive that you are skinning the correct frames? There are 2 sections that need to be skinned for PP frames.
Leaving a window borderless will not allow you anything to grab ahold of for window resizing.
