Border problem

Monday, June 1, 2009 by Automan | Discussion: Stardock Support General

Hello support:

I need to inform you that using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 that there is a problem that Microsoft mentioned is a DesktopX problem using the Browser ActiveX control to see a webpage on a desktopX built Desktop.

The problem that I noticed is that when you load an ActiveX Browser control and just have it by scripting show a local image, that there is a border issue where as it shows a white 3 to 4 pixel border on the right side and the bottm.

When the web item loads it shows it and yu can't control the border with DesktopX or microsoft Expression.

Microsoft mentioned that the Web control has to be changed so that DesktopX will show the animated image correctly. Here is a scren shot I took of the control and a local image.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
