It's an issue with anything really. Do public work and you'll attract attention, specially if you're doing it right. The more people around you, the more attention you get. Why did you assume that the internet be any different?

A: There's numerous search resilts that'd turn up that I'm the class clown/village idiot, but I don't care and carry on being a lunatic regardless. Besides, the recipients of those results are not in my living room pointing fingers of ridicule.  In other words, you're pretty anonymous here unless you detail your whole life story in your profile and give out your full name, address and phone No.... with supporting photos, SS No and bank account details.

B: Skinning is a hobby/past-time that you should enjoy for the sake of it... the ability to share is a bonus, not a responsibility or duty, and thus there is/should be no pressure attached, no expectations.

C: The only invitation you need is your browser and click on the WC link.... cos there are no invites to upload or participate in threads... those are purely voluntary but alway welcomed, so if you feel left out then you are the one who left you out.

Look, there were times when I felt depressed and didn't feel like being a part of things here, but those feelings always passed and I come back to find that I'm still a part of a great community who welcomed me back with open arms.  OK, I've had some issues and haven't uploaded anything for a while, but nobody is dogging me about it and I don't feel pressured by anyone to do so. 

And the majority of my forum contibutions are tongue-in-cheek tomfoolery, meaningless jibber-jabber and a load of old twaddle, but people here like and accept me for who I am... and many embrace the dribble I come out with in the spirit in which it was intended, as a bit of fun... as a distraction to the more unpleasant aspects going on in this world.

In other words, WC to you is what you make of it.  It can be a place filled with fun, friends and happiness, or a place that makes you miserable... the choice is yours.

Good point. I'll argue it from another way too, just for arguments sake.

(The following numbers are rough estimates )

Considering the fact that 80% of all posts are redundant questions about "when is this due", "this is crap because it doesn't work", and 19.99% are utter useless rambling about nothing, it leaves 0.01% posts to actually be left out of... So in the end, you only miss out on somewhere around 10 posts/month you're not here. Also, if you visit the wincustomize front page, the articles count as posts too, which reduce the amount of missed topics of interest to 1 every 6 months.

     Tomfoolery, dribble drabble and the like are what makes for a pleasant experience. I speak for mineself when I say...... what do I say...oh yeah...where else do you have so many who offer so much and ask nothing in return other than a smile or two. I was away for a bit. I put up some rainies and a wallpaper or two. Lost my computer and all but...hey...I'm still here. Don't walk away dude. It's too too much fun having everyone here including you. So come play with us...hehe.

Interesting as this has been brought up by a few people recently.  We don't have any control over search engines.  This is a "public" site and anything uploaded, posted, etc. is fair game in the world of search engines.

I don't like to see any members leave, but if you want items removed you would need to go through and do them yourself. 

If you haven't checked my page recently, I made a post about my return.  There's just too much to lose and this site is fun, even if I don't visit every week.
