Failed uploads in Logonstudio Vista

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 by MouseGoddess | Discussion: OS Customization

What would make a Logonstudio Vista screen not upload? I keep getting "upload failed" messages.

I re-saved the screen to a logonvista file three times, it didn't help.

Anyone got an idea?

Server down

Preview image not at least 1024 x 768

LogOn of same name already

Flash updated above ver 9 behind your back

Try different browser perhaps?

What Ausvet said, and the most typical problem is having Flash 10 installed.

Also try:

or

Flash 10 huh? I don't know what version it is, I'll have to check, but I have switched browsers recently, so I don't think that would be it. The preview is more than 1024 x 768 so that one's out. I'm wondering if it's the name? I never would have thought about that! Because I'm uploading other screens with the same browser, flssh and size. That narrows it down.........

Thanks so much for the info, I'm going to go change the name on that screen!

I changed the name. This time I got all the way to the last where it says it was uploaded, but at the bottom in red it said you have to submit the file too, which of course I had. This is the only screen I've ever had trouble with. Anything else I should try before hitting the ole delete button on this screen?

How big a filesize is the file?  How big a filesize is the preview?  I'm not talking about dimensions.  I'm talking KB, MB etc...

The file is 1.48 MB and the preview is 189 KB.

yeah, you shouldn't be having any problems on that end then.  Have you gotten it worked out yet?

What if I save the preview jpg. again as a png., then back to jpg and then the logonfile?
