Win 7 RC1 bad wallpaper contrast
Friday, May 15, 2009 by FacelessUser | Discussion: Fences
When using fences in Win7 RC1 on my netbook, when a wallpaper is changed (and only after the wallpaper is changed), the contrast of the wallpaper is horrible. After reboot, the wallpaper will look fine, but if the wallpaper is changed again, the problem returns and cannot be corrected until reboot.
I have an intel 945 graphics chip, an atom processor, and 2gb of ram.

Yeah, I'm also having this problem but I think I may have found a "kind of" solution. I just change wallpaper with the mycolors program. You don't need to have a theme installed, you can just click the wallpaper tab and choose the one you want. This has been working for me but yeah that problem is very annoying.

An update made in the RC of Win7 clashed with some of Fences' drawing procedures.
All fixed, and an update will be out in the next couple weeks ![]()

I'm having the same problem. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but did not fix the issue. Even tried installing Fences and a brand new install of Windows 7. Same problem.
