Total Newbe needs to create a Animated Wallpaper

Hi, Menk899 here....
I am a total newbe and I would like to make an animated wallpaper. I don't mind reading directions and following links and so on but I have no idea where to start. Can someone please give me a little push?

After you get your feet wet, check out the link that amitsaran posted in reply 2 for the absolute best tutorials there are for Adobe After Effects.

Well, there are many ways to create an animated wallpaper. I feel you're talking about creating .dreams , if yes then try out these links- http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/
