IP breaking email shortcut in startmenu (Vista x64 swedish)
Wednesday, April 22, 2009 by mickeko | Discussion: IconPackager
As the title says, I have trouble with the email shortcut in the start menu after applying any icon package.
It works fine when default email software is set to windows mail, but if it's set to anything else, I get an error message stating that the object is not available and an option to remove the icon. It worked perfectly until I applied my first iconpackage (midnight). The same thing happened on my previous installation of vista, but back then I couldn't connect it directly to IP as I messed about with alot of other things too when it happened.

hmmmmmm that's very interesting. for quite a while, i always had the default Outlook icon on the start menu. i jsut figured IP couldn't change that icon on my system. a couple weeks ago, that email icon started changing whenever i changed Ip skins. i never use the start menu to open Outlook but i tried it after reading mickeko's post. i get the same error message he does. i'm on vista64 also, btw.
