"address bar" docklet ????

Not sure if this is the proper place for a post, however I am looking for an "address bar" docklet, either pre existing or tutorial on how to create. Looking for something similar to the search docklet, where you click on the icon in objectdock, and you have a text box to type your search criteria, and it executes the browser with a google search. Looking to click the icon in the object dock and have a textbox appear, then be able to execute URL's, EXE's, and other commands that you would typically type into an addressbar or run prompt.
