Many if not most are working, away etc,, it typically takes a bit of time for folks to see and respond to the Forum request. I will imagine more replies will be forth coming, tho Tim is an awesome choice.

You could also change the thread title to "$$ for custom suite" or somthing simular to give browsers more idea of what the thread pertains to... I thought it would be a help request at first..

A whole suit is alot of work(!),be aware that it takes many many hours to make something good... what is your price-range?....

good of you to offer your experience here...a good formula...it's always hard to figure out what you're going to charge people for a skill that's so time consuming and keep it real.....some good advice.....

By wanting a WB, login, bootscreen and icons, you've limited yourself to skinners who actually do it all. That could explain the few replies.

if you have a big budget, i suggest you to go to theskinsfactory or stardockdesign.
if you have a not so big budget, you may approach some skinners here who have proven their quality.
if you have a very low budget, you may go to mrrste at deviantart, tell him 1nsomn1ac send you.
but be carefull, the skin may contain lots of bug, sometimes you might think you're blind, because of
white font on white background, or black font on black background. good thing is he's cheap.

OK I'll try to clarify

Theme is for  staff of this company 

We are located in Georgia

I want this theme for one company who is building its brand but if this project would be successful than I'm going to suggest this kind of product to all big companies in this area so for the artist who would make this first theme i think this might become beginning of long term partnership.

needs:

theme must work on  windows XP SP2 & SP3 

1. soft light  skin with minimal graphic as i mentioned staff members would use it and all day working with this theme mustn't be problem.

2. login screen with company logo in the same color range as theme 

3. boot screen again with company logo 

4. 5-8 icons 

5.  4-5 gadgets

please tell me estimated price

to say honestly i don't want to use windowsblind but i cannot find any other options ( i don't want to change system files so standard skins aren't for me) if anyone has some suggestions, how can it be done to make only one install file (.exe) and don't install windowsblind first and than theme, please tell me .

Well, if it's a question of -time-, please remember that installing WindowsBlinds and applying the one skin/theme is a one-time process only. (Install-and-forget)

When you say Georgia, you mean the Country and not the American State correct? I just googled your name and your username is showing up on a Turkish language website. I think this should be made clear.

My only concern for the artist is that if you're in Georgia, Turkey, Russia or whatever, then this artist would have zero legal recourse if something goes wrong. I'm not assuming you would do anything wrong, but its important for an artist to be protected and i don't see it happening if your company is based in one of those countries. Just my opinion.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from doing this, just make sure you're protected. I mean he still hasn't given the name of his company. Why not?

Let me also add that I don't know Giorgi and for all i know he could be the nicest guy in the world. That's not my point at all. My point is when you take assignments from companies in other countries than the one you live in, it becomes exponentially difficult to protect yourself.

Off-topic: I saw Godsmack in concert with Linkin Park years ago down in Miami and they were great live. I met Linkin Park that night too. Pretty awesome time.

as TheSkinsFactory (sorry don't know your name) sad its hard to be protected when makeing online deals. As artist  also I'm not protected at all so this kind of business is more based on trust.

i've not named my company because I'm not makeing it for my own company this company who need this skin is our client and doesn't whant its name to be sad so publicli ( as thay sad main reason is that other competitors would make the same and thay want to be the firs ones )

depending on how much effort goes into it a skinner might charge a high price as a lot of time and tedeous work goes into making a skin

Now that i know the theme is for a client i understand why you didn't name them but your company was needed which you provided. The fact that your company is new and doesn't have a website would make me wary only because there is no record of who you've worked for in the past. No public record anyway.

It really boils down to trust like you said.
