MY FLASH PLAYER WONT FLASH !
Problems with Adobe Flash Player

Hi Folks .. Just a quickie , hopefully ...
Last week I recently downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash ... from here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Followed onscreen instructions as usual , No problems you would have thought ... No such Luck ....
Ever since then , If I go to youtube,Googlevideo and other places like BBC I get this :
"" Cannot play media.You do not have the correct version of the flash player. "" and a link to the
latest Flash Player ( above )
This has been happening for the past few days now and is really starting to annoy me ... (!)
I am on Vista Home Premium ... with all the usual security ..Defender, avg CC ..Spybot ~ used daily ...
I am totally flummoxed with this , and it is literally driving me round the bend (metaphysically speaking , of course..!)
If anybody can steer me thru this stonewall I will be very much appreciative, and the handing out of karma points
will be in abundance !!
( nothing to tech-y for me folks ... please .. )

Change the Security for Everyone and your User Account to Full.

What version do you now have? Flash 10 can give you problems on some sites. You may need to re-install Flash 9. I posted links to the uninstaller and the flash 9 archives,but darn if I can find the thread.
I have both saved on my usb drive,PM me if you need them.
Edit: Always listen to the duck! But if that doesn't work,9 may be needed.

~ and guess what ? The Solution worked ! ! ! .... Thanks so much yrag , I really appreciate the help ...
I had already downloaded the uninstaller and flash9 ..Just in case ... but iI thought I had better ask here first ...

Mods ... This should be pinned/stickied ... Surely other folk have had the same problem ... Just a thought ..

But, if we pinned it, Gary might get bored and go off to other sites...........you really have to think these things thru

Oh ..nearly forgot ..
I have the VM enabled in Internet Options ... If that helps ...
