How do I convert Cursor XP files to FX?

The title says it all. Any suggestions as to how I can use Cursor XP files in Cursor FX would be most appreciated!

I purchased CursorFX Plus and all the cursors I downloaded for CursorXP Plus work fine on my system, so you should not need to do any converting to get them working. Just place your CursorXP files in your FX folder and you should be fine. 
Also, it would not be advisable to try running both XP and FX on the same system as it may cause conflicts... FX does all that XP did and more, so it would be all you'd need.

I'm finding that what you say is true, but when I use Theme Manager to apply a suite containing an XP Cursor when I have FX installed, it refuses to apply it saying that I don't have Cursor XP installed. I think Stardock wrote backwards compatibility into Cursor FX but didn't get around to writing it into Theme Manager.

I haven't used ThemeManager in a while and didn't know that. Other than applying a cursor theme independently with CursorFX and 'Saving Desktop As', thus creating a new suite file with a cursor of your own choice, I don't know of any other workaround and you may have to contact [email protected] to find a solution/learn more.

Try changing the extension on the cursor file from .cursorxp to .cursorfx and see if it works.

Edit: Can both Cursor XP and FX be safely inistalled in the same instance of Windows XP?
