Clock so it Displays the DAY
Monday, February 2, 2009 by sm319 | Discussion: DesktopX Tutorials
I basically took a analog clock that was already in the desktop x's object folders and reskinned or rather replaced the image with my own.
It works and looks fine, but the image i replaced it with has a little box to also show the day eg.(12th,18th, 31 ect..) of the month. How could I get the day to be able to shouw up with the clock that I am using now?
Is it a small script?
Thanks for any replies that I may receive.

Create new object, in the options you will see 'add', select this, and from the list of plugins there should be 'date text state', select that, apply it, then set your font, colors, shadows etc.. close the editor off, then right click the date for config options, a box will pop up, and you'll see.. 'ddd',' MMM dd yyyy', [with explanations on what each abbreviation stands for] just remove the parts of that code that you don't want, and keep 'd' to just display the date, with no zero in front of the digits.... or display the day, it tells you what code is for each
, just mess with it, until you get it looking like you want.
