lou, there's a Bootskin tutorial around here somewhere, I know you need to use a certain program that comes with some Stardock product, I forget which one, but it saves in a weird format, 8 bit? I think.. but it can't be done by normal means, for example, Photoshop.. unfortunately![]()
Search doesn't work, and I see that tutorial all the time, now when I WANT to see it, I can't find it.![]()

Are you asking about bootskins or logons...birds of a different feather.
Requirements for bootskins (Vista):
Max size 10 mb. in .png or .jpeg format Images scaled to 1024x768 in 24 bit color. Internet connection required.
Re XP, I haven't the slightest...sorry.
Logon (Vista)
You would just import it to Logon Studio. Assuming you have Vista. Again, no clue as to XP.
