DIALING HELPLINE...After Effects Alternative which supports AFX plugin formats

Wednesday, January 21, 2009 by superman | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Dear Friends,

Are there any alternative to after effects which support after effect compatible plugins.. There are some really cool and hot free AFX plugins which I would like to use in my videos..

I could find only two freewares...

Wax & jahshaka

http://www.debugmode.com/wax/

http://www.jahshaka.org/

But perhaps they don't support these plugins..

Any other which does?

Thanks in advance

But why? I am asking for a program which supports after effects plugins... Just as Gimp supports photoshop compatible plugins...

Is there any..

May be because I have posted some useless replies but these are not useless because these will keep my post active to increase the chances of getting an answer..

Btw, thanks for making a post here. I have to go into bed now.

Hope someone answers my query!

I don't have after effects... Its very priceeeee.

I have third party plugins for it.

So I am looking for a software which supports its plugins.

Just as Gimp supports photoshop plugins I am looking for a GIMP for After Effects.....

Thanks for smile and posting here(to make it recent)...

Did you even try these programs to see if they supported the AFX you want?

I seriousy doubt there is After Effects substitute if there was market force would tend to cause Adobe to lower the price.

There are other video editing stuff out there like Sony Vegas but nothing like AE power and function.

Did you try the cut down version Adobe Premiere Elements, there is the trial of AE too for 30 days.

I have read at cnet that jahshaka is developing into a true competitor of after effects from version 3.0..

I pray to God it develops...

Also I got some sharewares too which allow use and save without watermarks...and supports those plugins too...

But first I will try jahshaka

A suggestion:  with the new name change, why not try a new avatar.  An off topic item but I wanted to address it.  Please stop post dating comments on private sites so that yours stay at the to.  It is VERY irritating.
