Creating even GREATER space efficiency with Fences

There are a number of programs out there that can change the View settings on your desktop, such as the "tiles" or "list" view. Is there currently a good way of getting Fences to take advantage of a feature like this either on its own, or by other 3rd party software? As it currently stands, with the programs I have tried out, Fences behaves oddly when trying to work with such 3rd party applications that grant these types of views with the desktop, and generally will end up making the list view look very messed up.
It would be nice to have a list view of shortcuts, not only because each fence will be able to hold many more shortcuts in a small area, but also because list view always displays the full name of the target. Icon view will often cut off the full name of the folder/application, and can sometimes be extremely frustrating when you are dealing with many different paths, all of which have detailed names for their identification. I tried to accomplish this with Stardocks Objectdock Plus, but it was far from doing what I wanted it to. Any recommendations or input would be appreciated.
